been a long time without a grub rant so here it goes

i'm still trying to go full seasonal so instead of waiting for end of the month i used all my crystals AND all the shrimps to spark my perfect son but the writing was shit because they use him to push that sinister agenda. also yes spark because nothing's changed. ssr tickets are always useless dupes and you can never roll the chara you want even if he's on rateup. still missing a bunch of grands too bleh

now let's see what has happened since last time: that one cute amnesiac is actually an evil mastermind so forget it. The detective event didn't even have chat noir and literally everyone died; they made like 7 new designs for 2 hours. Very weird vibe. The potato couple is dead but at least they are together but their pseudo son is not playable of course! and they gave the nice moments to sevil not one of the many ikemen and actually popular ones.

ok fine i shouldn't talk cause my favorite isn't popular either and i got some cute content and i'd give him more if i could so i totally get siero but there's so many waifus, even literally marriage and the husbando side is *crickets*

damn the rant was supposed to be about the anni but it had been a while so there was a lot more. anyway where to start -new boy is a waste of a design cause he's not even a character, just a chatbot talking in circles so siete can have a sideplot and idiots can make cuckmemes. And of course he dies! -other new boy suffers for 6k years and then dies lmao what! there was literally zero reason to do that in the very end when everyone's finally together and happy -btw both of this is because the big boss the ASSHOLE fire chicken who of course has a female voice manipulated them and then discarded them. but she brought back her loli verison because how else will disgusting coomers throw money at the gacha -and fucking lu who won't let me kill this dumb bird becauuuuse -the rest of the cast was whatever -i don't care about the casino and the couples especially since 10 years later one of them still isn't a couple. having said that christina rose(heh) in my eyes with how thoughtful she was about nanashi -the six 9ds just bloated the cast and once again it's 4 hot girls, a bird and one ok guy -sidenote: those new free charas are also 4 girls, not even one guy like everyone though from the silouettes -the free event chara is of course another booba angel pulled out of nowhere (no the spellbooks don't count) who's also another luci orbiter and spends years proving she has room temperature iq but somehow in the very end she was the only one who understood the complex (read:super simple) motives of the phoenix. the irony is that the conclusion is that it's beyond human understanding so don't even bother trying hahahaha -and of course no males allowed in dark so they resurected a half-naked primal to grand who's also somehow a master detective wow -and somehow the worst of all? caglioSHITro. So strong, the strongest we can't solve anything without him ooooh. I hate him. Yes him the man who put his essence/soul/whatever you wanna call it into a homunculus made in the image of his own sister(!) and gets his kicks from switching between tought ore voice and cute gril tehee~. Peak CRINGE!!

Chain of Iron:Death theory

As the awaited release date for Chain of Iron approaches and the fandom decends into pure madness, I want to put in my last two cents of overthinking before I stop having coherent thoughts

So we all know this is a second book, and second books bring the absolute pain in the shadowhunter chronicles. There is likely going to be a death from the mains considering the theme of this book, and I am here to throw my theory and reasons as to who I think it might be. Im here to sadly theorize about why I think Christopher Lightwood might not make it past the last hours

1. Tatianas revenge

Right now, Tatiana wants revenge after all our main families: the carstairs, herondales, fairchilds and both branches of the lightwoods. For the lightwood-collins theres barbaras death. For the herondales her daughter has been manipulating their son for over 6 years. Theres a theory that the fairy poison Mathew bought that caused Charlottes misscarriage could be traced back to her. And there are other theories that Elias dissaperance between chog and choi could have something to do with Belial. As of right now the only family who is yet to recieve any permanent damage or tragedy are the lightwood-herondales. Which is really ironic considering its the only family that has two bloodlines Tatiana wants to harm. Not only that, but theyre also the children of who Tatiana blames directly for her fathers death, Gabriel. It seems fishy to me there hasn't been any permanent damage in their family, and I dont think that is gonna last for long

2. The family tree

The family tree states that Grace Cartwright (Aka Grace Blackthorn) marries Christopher Lightwood and theyre the ones who continue the line that leads to Alec and Isabelle. Now Cassandra has said varius times the family tree can be misleading, and I am a firm believer this is one of the misleading ends. Why this lie was created, I'm not sure, but lets analize some things. As of right now there are 5 lightwood children. At least 3 of them can pass down the lightwood name. Of those three, if we take into account that Thomas may not have kids due to being gay, that still leaves two branches of lightwood kids that may continue on. As of present time we only have word of one line, Alec and Isabelles. And Robert isnt said to have any cousins, theres no mention in the future of another lightwood line. So the idea that both Alexander and Christopher have kids is pretty unbelivable considering theres only one lightwood line in the future. Unless Alexander goes on to have only girls and Christopher has only one boy, it seems more likely the family tree is wrong. Isabelle and Alec are confirmed as of the bane chronicles to be decendants of Gabriel lightwood (Isabelle makes a reference to looking up her great great grandfather Gabriel Lightwood and telling magnus he was hot in the last story of the book)

So its already confirmed they're a) the last decendants of the lightwood line and b) that line stems from Gabriel. If we based ourselves solely on the family tree and Christopher being the one carrying the line, that would have been believable enough not to raise any red flags. Christopher IS the son of Grabriel Lightwood, able bodied and seems to have a general attraction to women (I mean, we all know hes aro/ace but lets stick with canon). There isnt anything pointing to him not being able to marry and have kids. Where the red flags raise for me is with Alexander

Alexander wasnt in the original plans for the family tree, he was added when Cassie started writting the last hours. If you take into account his role in chog, there really was no reason to add Alexander Lightwood. He doesnt seem to do anything, hes a 3 year old kid, you can very well delete him from the narrative and nothing would change. So why did Cassandra add him?? Why did she decide to make Cecily and Gabriel have another kid ?

To me, it seems a lot like the baby carstairs situation . The family tree says Alastair carries the carstairs line, Alastair is a gay man so he cant have biological kids, theres another unplaned baby to carry the line. It seems to me Christopher carrying the lightwood line is a lie, and Alexanders role is to carry it in his place. I even found a little info from an ask wayy before chain of gold came out where it said Alexander had green eyes, but in the book she changed it to blue eyes. The exact same shade the modern day lightwoods seem to have. A trait hes more likely to pass down than his lavender eyed brother who supposedly "marries" grey eyed grace

3. Character Arc

Characters in literature need goals, things to work for or work towards through the story in order for them to develop. We call those things character arcs, and it seems we have all ignored how christophers may have indirectly ended. If you read his short story, or just overall analize his character, his main goal is simple. He wants to create something that will help the nephlim through science. His personal character arc is that he wants to prove himself and his skill to the clave using his passion to be a hero.

An arc that could have been expanded all through the series, and ended with him using his skills in the end to defeat belial in some way, proving his passions worth. Through the story we could have had a glimpse at his struggles, how he was put down, the failed attempts, fustrations etc. This all could have rounded christopher as a character, and brought more satisfaction to the end goal of his arc which is proving the value of his science. But instead, his arc in book seemingly already ended? Because he did it, he figured out a way to combine science with his duty and saved the entire enclave from the demon poison. He is now acclaimed a hero for his skills. All the other characters have things to finish going into chain of iron, Christopher doesnt. Why would she end an arc that could have taken through the entire series in just one book? Christopher is the only secondary character with a defined personality and a lack of arc to look foward too in following books. This could all point that his arc was rushed because it was being cut short

4. Lightwood blood

There has been a lot of theories going around about Thomas being the one who gets killed in this book, which is resonable considering the unerving amount of forehsadowing we've had to him getting himself caught up in something. But I raise you this, why would CC be giving us so much assurance that Thomas was going to get hurt if she was going to kill him? Not only would she be reaveling one of her most devastating murders, she would basically be spoiling a very big part of her own book. Thomas death would affect everyone, if she WERE to kill him she wouldnt be indulging us in our Thomas death theory as much as she has. Itd be too expectable, I actually believe that by giving us all the info she has she has more or less confirmed he wont die.

I believe this is all a decoy. Shes giving us foreshadowing towards something bad happening to Thomas, to cover up the very big reality shes planning to kill someone else. Theres a very big chance that for the resurection, theyre gonna need Jesses families blood. Same way Malcom needed blackthorn blood to raise Annabel. As of rightnow there arent any blackthorns (by blood) left alive, the only blood relatives Jesse still had are the lightwoods. So we already know Thomas gets captured by the murderer (referenece to the art), but it is most likely he gets rescued. People speculate he most likely got captured for the resurection Tatianas trying to do, because of his lightwood blood. But if Thomas escapes, Tatiana still needs her families blood. And I'd like to point out this is also where the fact she hasnt taken permanent revenge on the lightwood-herondales would come in. Theres a good chance that if the murders are releated to her, and she cant have Thomas, she wont stop at just Thomas.

5. Story relevance

In all sense of story, Christopher is the perfect candidate to kill. As hard as that is to say: he's a secondary character, who has a well defined personality, loved enough by the fans that there would certainly be a shock factor following his death, important enough to the story that there would be a big impact to the narrative, and interwined enough with the main characters to cause emotional distress in the story. His arc is indirectly done, this author has a history of killing lightwoods, there isnt much to discourage the possibility he might be killed besides the faulty family tree. And as I said, that tree has been stated multiple times to be misleading

The truth is, I hate this theory as much as everyone, Im genuinly hoping chain of iron proves me wrong. But there are 5 deaths comming, and not all of them can be side characters. Cordelia Lucie and James all have main character protection. I already explained why Thomas dying is unlikely. Anna, Ariadne and Alastair have gay protection (and I think some asks about Alastair dying were pretty much answered with a discreet no)

Zexal and Christian Symbolism

Before we get started, I want to specify that I will mostly talk about visual symbolism. What I mean is, there is probably a lot more reference to christianism in some world building and lore aspect, but my memories of the exposition scenes are small and my will to rewatch concerned episodes rather inexistent right now. So I won’t really talk about aspects such as the comparison between Don Thousand and famous fallen angels (Lucifer, for wanting more power than being banished to another world but also Azazel, since i remember him being imprisoned « under » the Barian world). I may go back to it later, and make another post about it. This post may also be edited if I ever find new interesting things. (also? All my knowledge comes from having some interest in the bible and hebrew/christian religion in high school, I rered some parts to make sure I don’t say anything stupid but I might be wrong. So, sorry in advance.)

Zexal has lots of different references to various mythologies and religions, most of them being rather antique ones (some things are to be said with greek myths). The specificity of the christian references are that they’re mostly there for the aesthetics, and that there are no special reason to associate any of the cast with this imagery (unlike, again, greek myths : nash and merag comes from ancient greece).

The most obvious reference seems to be Heaven and Hell through Astral and Barian world. The blue/white and black/red visuals, the pure/order chaos/corruption division, that’s quite your typical representation of heaven and hell. But I would attribute that more to the usual ygo dark/light opposition than actual symbolism.

However, the opposition do holds when considering Astral’s rôle who is, pretty much, Jesus.

Astral as Jesus

The « son » of a very powerful being that sent him to earth in order to accomplish his will of purifying humans (here, destroying earth, but we have a similar idea). Astral has a lot christic themes associated with him, his sincer goodness and purity , his sense of sacrifice, his growing love for « humans » (yuma being their main representative)… And, as such, Black Mist is the antichrist. The evil version of Jesus, who’s main role is to corrupt people intol evil, and take the Christ’s place.

Astral’s story also seem to reference some of Jesus’ journey. There are two key moments, first being in episodes 47-48, in the duel against Mihael. In this duel, Astral is attached on a pillar in a position similar to a crucifiction, so that Yuma can no longer hear him, done by Mihael in a roman soldier outfit. Beside the very obvious cross position he has, it mirrors the crucifiction itself as it was done by the roman empire, because they didn’t like the message Jesus brought to humanity.

(it could be extended by considering that Mihael would represent something like antique civilization who didn’t believe in god. His numbers include references to Atlantis, which’s myth is similar to the ones of Sodom and Gomorrah, and he has other monsters associated with non-christian myths.)

The second moment is in episode 111. After defeating Black Mist, Astral dies. It’s not the first time someone dies in Zexal, but it is the one moment where it is uncertain if he will come back or not. And, then 3 duels pass, and he comes back. Just like Jesus spent 3 days dead before coming back to life. It might be a little detail, but the characters dueled in those 3 times before the resurection are also very important in this subject. So, let’s talk about the fearsome fours.

The Fearsome Fours as the Horsemen of the Apocalypse

I don’t think the comparison between these two groups of characters requires much explanation. They are four, evil, and comes one after the other to announce the « Apocalypse » : the war between humans and barians.

The first horseman who appears in the Apocalypse is on a white horse, he’s usually named as Conquest, but many alternate interpretation associates him also with Pestilence. It is Chironex. He has lots of white on him, and his powers revolves around sickness and infection, much like our horsemen. The second horseman is on a red horse, and is War. This would correspond to Scritch, who is very much red, and who’s abilities are to creates conflict and division between the two he duels. The third horseman is on a black horse and corresponds to Famine, and would be Erazor. The colors check, and as for the concepts… it’s a bit tricky but he’s about « eating » memories, being forever hungry, and so on… Finaly, the fourth horseman is on a « pale » (usually represented as white) horse, and is Death. It would be Mr. Heartland, who’s outfit at that point is the palest he ever had (while not being exactly white). Death is the leader of the hoursmen, and was given the three other as a way to bring death and despair on the earth, pretty much Heartland’s role in Zexal II.

But more is to say about these four characters. Heartland in particular, who holds the only textual reference in all of Zexal with his card :

That is called, in japanese « infection Belzebuth », after the demon. Said demon is also called the lord of the flies, and guess what insect Heartland is ? Belzebuth is a famous demon, but not as powerful as other ones.

But it leads me to one hypothesis that I cannot really conclude at the moment. Belzebuth likely comes from the other demon Baal, who actually was a god worshipped amongst others before monotheism appeared, and when it gained it power, was considered a demon and those who worshipped him were called heretic. This is a frequent process, and many demons in the bible comes from gods from other religions. This is the case for Baal, who is associated with Mr Heartland through the name and the flies, but also for the demon Abaddon. And, Abaddon is the lord of locusts. The original name of Erazor’s card being Locust King. I don’t know if it is a coincidence or not, and I couldn’t find other demons/fallen angels to associate with the Fearsome Fours. But it’s rather interesting and if I ever make a new connection be sure I’ll add it here.

The Barian Emperors as the Seven Deadly Sins

Finally, one connection is to be made between the seven barian emperors and the seven deadly sins. It doesn’t have much narrative consequences, it’s just an interesting note (that im not even sure of, i just like conecting things together). So I just made a list. One thing to notate is that the traditional colors for each sin are actually rather helpful.

So here it is ! It’s mostly details, I might need to rewatch at least some part of Zexal to really talk about overal connection ; and I also wish I could bring more characters to the associations (who would be the arclights ? I have no idea). But I hope I still said some interesting stuff in there.

Supernatural S15E18 “Despair” and S15E19 “Inherit the Earth”

MAJOR SPOILERS

This is going to be my longest posting, so I am going to add a keep reading link.

I am skipping episode 17 because way too much happened since then. Spoilers ahead. Plus a shit ton of side notes.

“Despair”

I’m not going to dwell to much on the whole episode. I just want to focus on the main parts.

I’m glad that we got to see Charlie, Donna, and Bobby. Then they get dusted. Fuck you Chuck.

Billie wants to take over as Death and put everyone back where they belong. Anyone that was resurected would die human and angel a like.

Billie sends Jack to the Empty to let off his bomb and kill it.

THE BIG MOMENT...

Billie is chasing down Cas and Dean. She wants to see Dean die before she does. Dean and Cas get locked in the dungeon so he can block her power. Dean then tells Cas that he got them into this all because he wanted to kill Chuck. Then Cas went and made it canon.

Cas finally tells Dean about his deal with the Empty. Once Castiel finds happiness, the Empty would kill him. The one thing that he wants, its something he can never have.

Cas proceeds to tell Dean how pulling him out from Hell changed him. How the way Dean sees himself as a killer, is not the way the world sees him.

Castiel tells Dean that he is the most selfless, caring, and loving human being he has ever know. Everything that Dean did, good or bad, he did it for love. Dean made Cas care about people and the world. That

Dean asks him, “Why does this sound like a goodbye?” Cas replies, “Because it is.”

Cas then tells Dean, “I love you.”

DESTIEL IS CANON!!! (All of us who knew)

The Empty is summond kills Billie and then Castiel.He is taken with a smile on his face. He’s happiness was telling Dean he loved him. Then its just Dean on the floor.Crying. Me too Dean. Me too.

Sam, Jack and Dean are the only ones left on Earth.

*Side Notes*

Michael’s death was beautiful, yet tragic. All he ever wanted was Chuck’s love. When Chuck was killing him, I noticed that Michael’s heart was exploding. Basically his heart broke.

I love how they made Jack into the new God. The concept of it was amazing to me. Because Kelly and Cas told them that Jack would bring paradise to the world. Jack telling Sam and Dean that he is always with them.In the rain, the wind, the sands on the beach. You could tell that Jared was really crying. Me too Jared.

Its beautiful that Sam always believed in Jack. He knews he wasn’t evil . Sam Winchester raised GOD and a good man. God is a 3yr old.

If Castiel doesn’t come back the next episode I am seriously going to throw hands.Cause honestly, just because Jack brought back everyone, (Did he bring the monsters back?) why is Dean happy? It feels like they are just forgetting about Cas.

Becky was right!!! 15x04 When she reads Chuck’s ending, she was us right now. That shit really hurt.

I have never been more proud of Sam and Dean than I was this episode. Even though they had planned the attack on Chuck. Jack is absorbing the energy that Chuck is releasing fighting the boys. Chuck is beating them breaking bones, making them bloody. They continue to fight him. Fighting him through broken bones, blood, sweat, and tears... THE WINCHESTERS NEVER STOP FIGHTING!!!

Instead of killing Chuck, they leave him. To become human. To die, old and alone. No one remember him or care about him. Leaving him in the dirt in “despair” that we have.

They did Dean dirty in this episode. The dog was so hurtful and wrong as hell. Then Lucifer pretending to be Cas that was the most hurtful scene to me. The hope and happiness Dean had when he thought Cas was there. The way he ran up the stairs, 2 at a time. The looks of horror and disappointment on his face was heartbreaking.

I know this was a lot to read if you made this far. Lol! This was the best epsiode in the series to me. It has surpassed; “Swan Song” and “Black”. I know as soon as I hear “Carry on my wayward son...” I will have a panic attack.

HEADCANON THEORY I’M THINKING OF FOR MY FANFIC

Spoilers! Well, more like leaks!

Ok, if Ben Solo fades into the force, we don’t technacally see his body. So there might be a way he could live. And if ya wanna say he dies just remember, Palpatine and Darth Maul both survived what they went through, and I AM NOT WILLING TO LET MY SON GO!

So humor me for a minute...

Assuming the leaks are true, that means Ben Solo gave his life force to let Rey live. However, if we throw in a lil’ Reylo magic, we could make a solid headcanon providing for new and interesting lore/stories that could let us dive into the lore of the days of the Jedi knights and the Sith. If Lucasfilm really made this canon, this might put out the dumpster fire they have goin’ on right now!

Ok, here we go! J.J. Abrams stated that he didn’t utilize the red thread of Destiny in his movie, but this doesn’t mean it isn’t canon. The red thread was confirmed by Rian Johnson in the last movie, and so was the force bond, which is utilized in this movie.

I believe Ben Solo dying is Palpatine’s fault. Palpatine is notorious for screwing around with the force, and pushing it to do things it isn’t supposed to do. Palpatine wasn’t supposed to syphon power off their force bond, he wasn’t supposed to still be alive, and if my other headcanon is correct, he was never even supposed to have met Anakin in the first place! (Btw I subscribe to the headcanon that Palpatine manipulated the force to create Anakin.) The force simply auto corrects itself when Palpatine screws around some, so assuming that Rey was Palpatine’s granddaughter, the force gifted her with the power to balance out Ben Solo, whom Palpatine probably screwed up too.

It’s logical to assume that the force never meant for Ben to die and Rey to live. It meant for both of them to live and die together, since they are after all, two sides of the same coin. The force may even treat the two of them as a singular entity (Which may be another reason Rey was able to snatch the lightsaber from under Kylo, because Rey was just a light side version of Kylo, and the Kyber crystal was a light side crystal, so it was attracted to the light, but that’s another theory for another day.)

Sooo, what if Rey’s force bond with Ben is so strong, it prevented him from fully dying? What if the Red Thread of Destiny kept Ben from passing into the afterlife, which could explain why there is no Force Ghost Ben in the leaks! You have to be taught how to be a force ghost, so Ben couldn’t be taught by someone who passed because he never reached the afterlife. The force may be keeping him in some sort of purgatory because he wasn’t supposed to die. So he either stays there until Rey dies, and he passes with Rey, or he gets ressurected with someone else’s life force in some sort of ritual that Rey puts together, pulling him out of Purgatory.

Here’s where we get to Sith lore. Sith probably did a lot of life force draining because their powers took up a lot of life force, as seen in the prequels. So what if Rey got sent into another part of the Outer Rim to discover how the Sith harvested and kept this life force so she could do the same (in a more light/grey jedi manner) so she could ressurect Ben? Not only would this provide us with a truly satisfying ending in which Ben and Rey survive and are able to build a new order, but it allows Rey to delve into the history of the Sith and the Jedi, something which (as far as I know) hasn’t been done too often, AND it would give Ben a chance to atone for his sins by actively going Galaxy-to-galaxy, gaining people’s trust and seeing first-hand the extent of the destruction he caused. Because, let’s be honest even with all the marketing about the end of the Skywalker Saga, this Saga is far from over. Rey and the rest of the resistance still have a Galaxy of people to help rebuild. If they stopped now, they’d be almost as cruel as the First Order.

So, in conclusion, Ben Solo dying isn’t the end of the Skywalker Saga, it’s just the begining of they went down this route. You’d have an interesting story allowing you to further explore the force bond between the two, and the extent of the strength of the bond that will even keep someone from fully dying, it allows for the lore of the relationship between the Sith and Life Force to be explored, it allows for the resurection of Ben in a way that makes morr sense than the resurection of Palpatine and Darth Maul combined, it allows for redeemed Ben to interact with the rest of the characters (and for Ben and Poe to bond as brothers raised by Leia), AND we get a happy ending for our two dear babies that have suffered so much at the hands of Palpatine! What’s not for a Reylo/general fan to like?

But, of course, it’s the end of the Skywalker Saga, why would Lucasfilms do this? They’ve ended the series.

But, ya know what they say, if ya want something done right, you gotta do it yourself.

A Means To Hurt

Everything had been a rush. One minute she heard Kain barking across the hall from Zek’s room, the next Laurent was dead. The stillness, the sudden absence of a person screamed at her magic. Laurent was dead, and his soul would be free to run to the Shadowland or whereeverWorgens went after death.

She had held his angry violent soul, letting it beat violently against her giving her the challenge of her life to keep him inside his body. It was only ask Zek had resurected Laurent that Temperance felt the emotions crash around her. Flying thoughts that had zoomed past her crashed around in a brilliant wreckage that she was stuck watching. When the medics arrived she slipped out of the room, she needed time, she needed to be away so she could figure out what was happening.

Falling to the ground outside his room she covered her face in her hands. She could smell the vomit, the sweat, the sour smell of the alcohol. It’s putrid scent kept her grounded in the moment, in the painful realization that burned her heart.

‘You know, I shouldn’t be suprised he’s alive still. I think some say that dogs are hard to kill.’ Son’ispa’s voice slithered up from the back of Temperance’s mind. The once comforting voice had turned into something Temperance fought against. ‘Why are you crying? He’s alive.’

But she couldn’t stop cryig, even if he was alive, the pain in her chest reminded her about what she almost lost. Her voice was a whisper, as she didn’t want Laurent to overhear her. She didn’t know how good his hearing was. “I still lost him for that moment Son. I feel that pain.”

‘You haven’t even seen him for the last month, why do you care?’

She knew why. Temperance felt Kain sit beside her and she wrapped her arms around the large dog. The contact was what she needed and she looked at Kain with a greatful look. “You did such a good job, thank you for getting me.” She kissed the pup on top of it’s large head but her body still lowered and made her let out a long breath.

‘He’s going to be fine, probably up to his normal boring antics in a matter of days. Just, get your crying out and we can move on.’

But a small rush of annoyance she had to say it. “I watched someone I love die and I didn’t tell him.”

The silence was palpable in Temperance’s head.

‘Did you say that you love that man?’

The question was so simple, but it was villed with a poison that Temperance feared. Son had made Temperance promise to not fall in love with Laurent. But emotions were not things you could plan.

“I am. I love him and I know he doesn’t love me. So shut up.” Temperance’s voice was harsher. “I don’t want you whispering in my ear about him being a mess, that he’s unworthy, just... stop it. He might be fine, but I know he doesn’t care about me like that. And that’s fine.”

She rest her head against the hall wall. “That’s... just fine.” She said the words and felt her heart turn in her chest. “He’s in love with a woman who didn’t love him. I at least get to be his friend still. It’s alright. I wanted him as a crush so he didn’t use me. Being in love with him is... more of the same, just I know I need to accept I’m going to be alone but be his friend.”

Son’Ispa coiled up in a frothy mess in the back of Termperance’s mind. ‘You lied to me.’

“You lied to me too. In Panadaria. This is me rebelling.”

‘I was trying to help you.’

“And I’m trying to grow up.”

Son’ispa was quiet for a moment, but the entity spoke. ‘What if he hurts you.’

“There are a million ways to be hurt. I’m going to get hurt. I’ve been hurt. You’ve hurt me. He won’t mean to hurt me. He’s not going to know he’s hurting me. Which is fine. He has enough on his plate.”

‘No truer words were spoken Ducky... You’re lucky Alexander likes him. Priest won him over with that level of devotion... If you get angry with him, can I then hurt him?’

“No. I won’t let you or Alexander hurt him. If you do that. I’ll hate you both, forever.” Temperance opened her eyes and looked at Kain. “You dad’s a good man, he’s just needing a lot of help.”

‘I’m never going to get you away from him... I might as well get used to the fact my daughter prefers to spend her time with priests than other void users and witches. I would wonder where I went wrong, But... I think this is just you, isn’t it? I somehow got a beautiful empathic daughter... who has the worst taste in men.’

Tempernace rolled her eyes. “You have bad taste in men. Laurent doesn’t mean to hurt me. Unlike the guys you try to hook me up with.”

‘I would have a snarky remark, but I can’t think of any right now. So. Enjoy your victory.’

By the way, Katana never talks. She took a vow of silence after her sensei dies.

- First, I don’t like the title. I dislike even more the wiring from the Reach tech...

- There’s a bad father/son relationship (I mean with fights) each season, isn’t there? “Scene/seen. Now you’re boying me?” I love the dialogue! I know I could hate the wiring... The “dad” at the end broke my heart :’(

- “But Brion Markov’s attitude will soon change! :D” Forager knows what’s going on between those two. Forager is a Haloforce shipper! Human Forager is so cute!! “Be careful on the boys! They only have one thing on their mind!” “What one thing?” *embarassed Brion* “If we arrive with the councelor and the principal, all the other kids will love us!” My poor summer child... “No flying at school!” xD

- After gory Halo, here’s gory Victor :( And here comes the Fatherbox so bad news?

- “I’m so happy to be here it makes me sick” Violet is still dealing with human emotions. Stay whelmed! Or could it be the Fatherbox?

- Is that Terra with blue hair?? And... freckles? (she has the same character design that in the animated movie) Oh she’s Harper Row. My bad. The whole conversation was hilarious and cute!

- Victor’s still alive!

- Of course, access denied. Nightwing knows he would do it. He did it as Robin first! And of course Nightwing appears! And now they’re fighting...but with it Brion could speak his heart out.

- “How they could know us if they don’t interact with us?” I know Forager. Most human are most judgmental at first sight...

- “Are Violet and Fred freaks?” Oh no sweetie don’t think that :( “But Fred must look like a freak...” He refers to his human form. It’s logical. Would you feel like yourself in an alien form? “Freak is cool.” Exactly! “Two hands only” xD

- Victor is freaking out. Naturally. So... he goes... violet when the fatherbox takes control? Like he calls to be heal. So the violet color has a reverse meaning for a fatherbow than for a motherbox, logical as they are the two faces of the same coin.

- Harper is so sweet!

- Whoa new aura: indigo (between blue and violet). So we still don’t know what blue aura does (and black aura, but I’m not sure it exists). What does it do? She opened a Boom tube?

- “I’m not an abomination. I’m a freak.” That’s the spirit. That’s my girl!

- Pleasedon’tmurderhalo! pleasedon’tmurderhalo! Yes! She’s okay!

- She’s healing him! Poor Vic, he’s so confused. “My work here is done.” Violet is so cute!

- Silas trying to find a common thing with Vic is sweet but yeah.. Vic would feel like a rat lab, ask Ed. “Can I go with you?” His voice was so heartbreaking :( Victor prefers to leave to not hurt his father again :( Yeah he’s angry, it’s understanding. At least, he’s alive right?

- Kind of ironic they boomed tube in a football field...

So Gabrielle Daou consciousness died, murdered by Bedlam’s minions and the Motherbox soul regenerates/resurected in her body because she needed a vessel. But Violet still has some of Gabrielle’s memories via the brain, but maybe not her thoughts or emotions?

- I love the Emerald Crown teasing! Was Gar talking about his mother(s) when he said queen? That needle doesn’t seem good...

- “And now he tells you to be patient...” xD

Sphere, stay whelmed! And... the Fatherbow is awake again... And... Conner is shirtless again... Halo has clearly no idea what she’s doing. So cute she calms Sphere down :)

- Reminder: Beast Boy’s metagene was activated by Martian transfusion and a bite from a green monkey.

- Mass conservation? Is it a clue for Wally’s return? Like his mass was conserved somewhere when he was desintegrated? A place where he can save Garfield from the Goggles? How can Gar remember Wally’s death if he wasn’t even there?! But he appears as the green monkey to show a parallel? Between the monkey and blood transfusion saving him and Wally saving him now?

- Come back as a hero my boy!

- “Are you real or is this all in my head?” Ask Dumbledore, kid.

- M’gann is in the place! White but with a green aura.

- Yes, I think it was a distraction to cope with all the trauma.

- “Ready to get back to reality. Ready to get back to the life.” hero life? It was both litteral and metaphorical.

- Perdita who don’t understand the Team’s slang :) Gar, did you teach anything to her?

- Garfield finally understand that Gretchen is a bad guy. But it feels off as we already know it. The Evolution episode should have happen after this I think?

- Emerald Crown is so cute! Their kiss was ok, but why M’gann are you doing the same in front of your brother?

- Haloforce kiss! After we finally understand who Violet is! But I would like to see the moment which brings to the kiss :(

- Sphere!

- Of course Wally won’t come back until part b or even the end of the season, will he?

- It’s Halloween! Halo and Forager are adorable as usual.

- Poor Vic :( Halloween cancel and Violet can’t come :( Forager drives bioship xD (Such a weird sentence...)

- Tara is 15, same age than Bart and Gar.

- Dr Jace had a little girl. who was taken from her. Was she meta? It’s thay why she started to work with Bedlam? To have intel to find her? Or did Bedlam blackmail her to make her work for him? That’s why she’s is so overprotecting with the kids?

- “You’re be my little girl for tonight.” That sounds creepy, right?

- “I know I said pretend I’m not here but I’m.” Yeah, Dr Jace, maybe not the best way to explain where the teenager hormones lead to...

- “Vulnerable” weaks the Fatherbox up. Great. And it’s because she is vulnerable, Dr Jace tries to be closer?

- Cameron (Icycle Jr) and the Terror Twins grew up so much... And not in a good way. I miss the Twins’ design in season 1. They get uglier each season, bad guy cliche. But Tommy could be the Bad Blue Beetle from Bart’s future, they have quite the same morphology and Queen Bee sold Chimmer to the Reach, why not him too?

- Holocaust?

- Wolf attacking the Fatherrbox.

Dr Jace just took a violet ray and if they’re like Halo’s yellow one she should be badly injured... Not just inconscious.

- Emotions turn off Halo’s powers? They just activated them!

- Earth VS FIre. Terra lost :(

- Stay Whelmed, Brion!

- Psimon out! Wait, did just Devastation called him baby?

- Tara is free!

- And Holocaust is with a Queen Bee’s minions.

- Family reunion!

- YJ is now a scary movie. Maybe it’s just panic which shut down Halo’s powers? Fight Vic! “The problem is I had too much.” So it was panic. Now save him!

- Yeah, go save the other kids!

- The conversation between Junior and SB is so chill (no pun intended) and funny. “She was my girl.” “But I was into her.” Dudes, it’s not a competition or a race, just let the girl decide maybe?

- “Maybe that means there’s hope for me too!” Redeem arc foreshadowing?

- “Ow.” Junior plays dead.

- Can we appreciate SB’s combat style?

- Princess speech!

- The Black girl speaks French? Who they could be? Anita?

- League and Team squads were successful” I wish we could have seen them :(

- Dr Jace activated Tara’s metagene on the blackmailing to kill her :o

Since two of our players were out, we pulled out this campaign

This was a really, really long session that had some hard bits in it for me as a person because boy howdy did I give Sam a lot of ammo to use against Vera.

SO the morning after the successful bank defense the Watch are all in the watchtower recovering from the previous night’s shenanigans, where even Y’all’d’ve was allowed to drink because Al was like “I watched him kill two people I’m not telling him anything he probably needs to drink.” The next morning there’s a group outside the tower, with a lot of city members coming wanting to join the watch.

The QC looks at the group and is like “Freddy, Ken, Y’all’d’ve, who’s the most sober?” As Y’all’d’ve was trying to sleep on Sara’s arm he was out of the running. The other two were sent off to get coffee. Al and Pava started their usual ribbing of the QC and she went outside to scare the shit out of people in order to give us enough time to sober up. With the help of coffee and bright ass sunlight the squads are ready to stand behind the QC as she gives her speech. Al stands back and makes punching motions with her fists because apparently she’s going to beat them up.

The other squads get paired up with their respective newbies and squad 3 gets pulled into the QC’s office for a conversation. Long story short: Because Sieger Medvedev is being an asshole and consistently requesting the guard look into the missing ring issue (not his wife’s probable murder) she’s sending her best and brightest. Namely: us three assholes. The half elf (Al makes sure to pull her hair back so her ears are showing), the human male (Who doesn’t do anything unless he has to) and the elf boy (Who has not worn shoes in his life and isn’t about to start now.).

They head to the residence and notice a few things about the staff: All Rutish maids, no butlers, the ones that seem to be in charge are the prettiest, and everything is very nice in the house. They’re shown into a sitting room and after fucking with the maids for a bit they get served tea. Y’all’d’ve perches on the couch, Pava drags a chair over from the desk to sit on it backwards, and Al sits on the seat at the head of the area, what would most likely be the seat Sieger would take.

Sieger guesses pretty quickly why they’re there, and Al wastes no time making his day as shitty as possible. Sieger tries to be like ‘Excuse you I just lost my wife and I am heartbroken’ but rolls a literal 1 on his bluff. Even Y’all’d’ve can tell he’s lying. Al states that they’ll need to search the house as a formailty, Siger is like ‘of course, you’ll be able to search all the rooms she was allowed in’ and Al is like ‘Uh no, all the rooms’ and Sieger was like ‘lol no come back with a warrant’ and Al was like ‘OKAY’ and goes out to talk to the queen commander.

Y’all’d’ve and Pava go to search Therese’ room where Pava keeps an eye on Sieger who’s trying to get away as much as he can. Y’all’d’ve is resepectful of the room as he can be, because he’s starting to feel bad for this dead lady. He talks with a bit with her maid and asks some questions, asks what other rooms in the house she frequents. The sitting room, the drinking room, the smoking room, her children’s nursery. (Me, as a player: OUCH) She hadn’t been anywhere else besides her room that day before she left. She’d been in good spirits (probably because she knew she wouldn’t be partying with Sieger, who essentially said he didn’t want to bring her along because she was an embarassment).

Meanwhile, Al tries unsuccesfully to convince QC to give her a warrant to search the whole place and QC is like ‘We have been trying for like 60 fucking years to get into that house to search and they haven’t slipped up I hate them so fucking much Al do you understand I have had to deal with Sieger his whole fucking life and even my husband, Geoff the literal saint, considered letting him walk free a crime’. and Al is like ‘I need in that house I need in all the fucking rooms I hate him and I want him in jail how can we knock him down a few pegs’ And the QC gets a horrible idea.

So they swing to pick up Y’all’d’ve and Pava and head over to a small but tall house and the QC asks the Butler to tell the Dame that she’s there. They get called up to the Dame’s room to meet her, and the woman that the QC has taken them to see, whom she thiinks will be all in for fucking with Sieger, is his Grandmother, the previous head of the family, Vera Medvedeva.

Dame Vera starts out the conversation with a quip about the QC not being able to die, which is a fucking great way to start the conversation. Al and Pava can both tell it’s a quip at her, but at the same time Dame Vera is playing. (She’s been playing this game for a while) It’s at about this point that the QC imminently regretted her decision of walking into this fucking house. Al is like ‘OH HEY GUESS WHAT YOUR SHITTY GRANDSON LOST YOUR FAMILY RING’ and Dame Vera is like ‘what a fucking moron’ and also was like ‘filing that away, he didn’t tell me, fucking idiot i find out everything’

Al and QC try to convince Grandmama to be on their side of ‘let’s throw your shithead grandson in jail’ and Grandmama is all”:) do you have proof :)” and Al is like ‘I will go to the queen herself if I have to get that smarmy son of a bitch in jail for a few nights” and Grandmama is all like ‘oh ho look at that, jack booted thugs. At least this is an improvement over the old group you ran with, they’re not killing people in the streets.” And Y’all’d’v’e is like -Jim face-

(Dame Vera also made a comment about Y’all’d’ve and hsi bathing habits that went mostly unnoticed)

The Dame is basically like ‘lol come back when you got some proof’ though she does give the group some nice backstory regarding Sieger, his ‘missing’ first wife, and some bits about the new wife. (She’s young, possibly thinks herself clever, hopefully not for her own sake, we all know what happened to Akulina) She also name drops his first son and adds that Sieger forgets he exsists half the time. Mentions his daughter that left the country.

(Dame Vera thought we were all ‘delightful’)

QC is exhausted and can’t even be too happy when Pava starts telling her about how everyone fucked with Sieger and she heads off. The idiots head back to the house to find out that the Master has left, but his son is there and Al is like ‘oh fuck yes, let’s talk to him’ but first talks with the maids in secret to get on their side and learn some info. She learns that Sieger went out, bought a pig, brought it into the basement and butchered it, and apparently that’s something he does when he’s in a temper and Al’s like ‘oh fuck that pig was me.’

After that in sashays Volya Medvedev who is like ‘oh, look at you. You, are you the one who perched on the couch?’ and Y’all’d’ve is like ‘uh yeah?’ “Pleas,e show me.” “Like this?” “Now sit on the couch.” “Okay?” “Rub your butt on it. Really get on there.” “I am uncomfortable.”

Meanwhile Al is like “TAKE OFF YOUR SHIRT.” And Volya is like “OKAY” and strips off his jacket and shirt and Al goes to town looking for signs of abuse. There’s no brusing or anything, but he does have scars. Al asks him about a few and he’s like “Oh yeah, that happend -insert horrible childhood memory here-” “What about this one?” “Oh, that was -additional horrible memory here-” And Al’s like ‘what the actual fuck, also would you come down to the guard tower and make a statement’ and He’s like ‘BUY ME DRINKS’ and Pava’s like ‘AYYYY’ and Volya puts his jacket back on but forgets his shirt and it becomes A Look. Al leaves behind the quill/parchment she’d taken with her before after breaking hte quill and writing ‘eat a dick’ on the inside of the letter.

So they walk him back to the guard tower and Volya gives his horrible, horrible statement, telling horrible stories of his past. Mentions the time his dad tossed his sister down a flight of stairs. When asked about the basement that no one went in he’s like ‘YUP, THAT’S A FUCKING THING’. Straight up offers to work with the guard and go back and purposely provoke his father into hitting him. Jokes a bit about if his dad goes too far and kills him that he’ll swing and somehow only Y’all’d’ve catches that he’s not joking. Volya is literally wiling for his dad to kill him if it means Sieger dies too.

Ont he way to the bar after Y’all’d’ve is like ‘uh guys i don’t think we should let him help cuz he wants to die and that is maybe not okay?’ and Al is like ‘we are trying to not get him killed’ and Pava’s like ‘yeah he is not in good shape’ but they go out bar hopping and Volya takes them to the two bars he was with his mom with on the night she died. Pava asks around to see if anyone remembers her, and att he first one he doesn’t get much luck but the second one he does, getting some information on the last person to see Therese alive. One of her friends stayed behind at the bar to have some fun with t he barkeep and he was like ‘it was amazing holy shit’ and talked that rich lady up. pussy game strong. The one Therese left with was younger, thick makeup, odd accent.

Al tapped out for a bit to go back and talk to her contact the bluter to see if he can contact both the Medvedva butler as well as the Medvedev maids to be like ‘hey, I want some info and I’ll make sure nothing comes back to you’. She joins back up at bar 3 and that’s when Y’all’d’ve makes his move.

He slides up to Volya and is like ‘hey there my dude, you seem to want to die’ and Volya is like ‘PsssSSSShhh’ and Y’all is like ‘I don’t think it’s cool to let your dad beat you to death when you kinda don’t act like you’d come back for a resurection spell’ and they walk and talk for a bit while Pava and Al follow behin (Al sneaking, Pava just walking)

Volya admits that shit is bad, and Y’all agrees. The world is fucking awful, and horrible things happen, and they keep happening, and they don’t stop. And Volya mentions that his brother left, his sister left (Me, as Vera: OW) and his mom ‘left’, goingout by getting Sieger arrested wouldn’t be a bad way to go out himself. And there’s his dad’s new wife and the kid she’s going to have, they’re going to get treated just the same. Y’all is like ‘it’s good to want to make things better, but like, shit don’t get better when you die. it just stops getting at all’.

They stop by the canal and Al and Pava are like ‘oh my god are they going to jump in’ after they’re like ‘shit, it’s easy to forget he’s been alive a long time’. Kid elf he may be, he’s older than all three of them combined. Volya seems to back from the cliff a bit, but Y’all’d’ve sees something sparkly in the water and, true to form, is like ‘Excuse me, I’m aware that this is a serious conversation but there’s something shiny, gotta get it.” and in he goes, failing his swim check remarklably and freaking out both Al and Pava.

Al grabs Volya and he’s like OH SCORE and Al’s like ‘Get Y’all’d’ve!’ and Pava’s like ‘My girl, I can’t swim.’ and Al is like ‘ffs you get HIM then’ and shoves Volya at him and Volya’s like ‘SCORE’ and Al goes over to check on Y’alld’ve.

Y’all’dve finds the shiny thing and pops up and is like ‘hey. saw a shiny. got it.’ and Al is like ‘you are a horrible fucking gremlin’ and Pava and Volya are like ‘AWESOME JOB’. He brings it up and it’s Therese’ missing necklace, but it’s broken.

Al and Pava (And Volya) seem to think that Therese killed herself, and Y’all’d’ve is in camp ‘why the fuck this neckacle broke tho’. At one point in the night Al and Pava have a conversation about if Volya swings both ways or not. Al heads home with Volya in tow to let him sleep it off with the old ladies and talks to Ethel and has her hide the necklace Y’all’d’ve found because she does not want any of this to come back on him. Ethel is like ‘do you fucking know who that is that is the medvedev heir’ and Al is like ‘i am aware we’re trying to get his father also his granny is great’ and Ethel is like ‘bitch what’ because apparently Ethel does _not_ like dame vera.

The next morning They take watch to the park and to distract Y’all’dve Al tells him to look somewhere, and he’s like ‘there’s nothing over th- is that a squirel’ and runs over to climb a tree and catch a squirel. Al and Pava talk about serious shit for a bit while Y’all’d’ve catches a squirrel. He’s like ‘I DON’T WANT IT ANYMORE’ and throws it at Watch, who catches it in one hand. Horrified, Y’all is like ‘please take that to al’ and as Pava and Al finish their conversation he lumbers over and holds out his hand to Al, opening it to reveal a terrified squirel who promptly bolts.

At the guard tower the QC is pissed because douchebag Sieger has sent a letter being like ‘HEY HOW BOUT YOU FUCKS BE PROFESSIONAL’ and Al and the QC have another chat where Al _almost_ tells her that Y’all’d’ve found the necklace but instead is like I WAS IN THE THIEVES GUILD THE TOHER TWO HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT and the QC is actually impressed she admitted that, but through other clues she’s given (Like admitting to the QC that she knew the necklace Sieger said wass on the body wasn’t there because we were the idiots who found it) that Al stole th rings off of Therese’ corpse.

Y’alld’ve and Pava go to escort Volya home and are like ‘Okay, don’t start shit’ and Volya’s like ‘Okay’ and in he goes to promptly start shit. They hear yelling and Volya opens the blinds a bit. Then things calm down and Y’all’d’ve and Pava are like ‘I got no where else to be’ so they wait. Volya comes out shellshocked. He yelled at his father, accused him of killing his mother, accused him of killing his first wife, came out as gay, and his dad didn’t give a shit. Didn’t yell at him. Didn’t hit him. Was like ‘I don’t care’.

Y’alld’ve and Pava: oh my god he’s going to fucking murder you.

They refuse to let him go back in the house and they walk him to Grandmama’s before heading back to the station to tell Al about this development. The QC drops a hint that she thinks that Al should return the ring to sieger for the reward money and to also be like ‘hey, asshole, look what the fuck I found’ and Y’all’d’ve is like -squinty eyes- because he suspects something’s up, but they distract him with gold to count. He makes it into shapes when he forgets he’s supposed to be counting it.

They head to Therese’ friend, the one who fucked the barman, and they get her account of the night. She gives them a bit of info on the girl that Therse left with. Her name was Peach, she wore thick makeup and out of style clothes and had an accent, but it sounded like she was trying to hide it. after Pava told her about hte barman’s compliments and she was like ‘he was so appreciative, he made me feel so wanted’ and Pava wingmaned hard for him she was like ‘oh, no, her name was Plum’. They talk with Therese’ other friend that sieger had told them about but she doesn’t have much to tell them, but both women say that Sieger’s people had been there to talk to them.

So the team heads back to the Medvedev residence and ask to talk to his fiance, and Sieger isn’t too happy. Howver, team asshole is on best behavior. Al’s brought her own quill and parchment, Y’all’dve is sitting and not perching on the (new) couch, Pava’s standing up straight. They talk with the future lady medvedev, who is from rusk and has an accent and the team is like HMMMM MMM INTERESTING. And Tatiana admits she was bar hopping and trying to network and did run in with Therese and how awufl she feels because the poor woman died that night. Al and Pava are like ‘oh you poor thing, it’s all right, she just had an accident’ and Tatiana shakes at that. The group is like ‘oh shit she knows something’ but they don’t say anything because Sieger is right fucking there.

Back at the guard tower the QC is like ‘you asshole need to finish this up because I’m losing squad one tomorrow you’re going to need to get interns.’ an Y’all’d’ve is like ‘hey, can I not get the elves? They don’t like me, I’m not elfy enough fro them’ and Pava’s like ‘WE GOTTA KICK THOSE ELVES OFF THE SQUAD THEY MAKE HIM FEEL BAD ABOUT HIMSELF’

Okay so how was Felicity acting in S4? cause I’ve seen some people say “I hope Iris doesn’t become the Felicity of the Flash” what does that even mean?

It means they hope Iris doesn’t get more screen time or speak her mind, because they can’t stand when a woman is important to a superhero narrative in a way they can’t ignore.

(Also, even though they want Barry and Iris to break up so that she won’t matter anymore, they don’t want it to happen in a “dramatic” way that makes Barry still think and care about her because that defeats the purpose of making women irrelevant.)

After reading all the comments it becomes very apparent why so many fanboys are losing their minds. I think a good chunk of it is them hating the idea the male lead recognizes he hurt someone then corrects his actions and behavior accordingly…but they want to think Barry can do no wrong and certainly wouldn’t change himself for a woman. Second the idea that Barry needs love and support from Iris to be the Flash…when they rather Barry not need Iris to be The Flash ½When you realize whats happening it becomes clear that a lot of them are extremely childish, unable to emotionally sympathize, and hate the idea of a woman speaking her feelings and asserting themselves. We can’t reason with these people and we certainly are not going to change their minds. I’ve learned to shut them out a long time ago and if any of your followers are feeling stressed about all this I suggest they do the same 2/2

That is correct. They idolize Barry, but in the way where they think he has internalized their POV instead of them internalizing his. They can’t actually see things from his perspective, because that would require being mature, considerate and not bigoted.

I totally agree, though. If it stresses you out to see Iris hate, you gotta just block. Let those who have fun doing battle, or who want to try and fail to educate, handle the schoolyard bullies.

The thing is racist fanboys will always find something on the show to shit about. This reminds me an awful lot of 3A when Cisco spent 5-6 episodes being mad at Barry over flashpoint and being the cause of his brother’s death. The amount of hate and negativity Cisco got was mind blowing. So many of these so-called “fans” turned on him the minute Cisco felt anger towards Barry. Sadly Iris is their main target. All we can do is love and support CP because I doubt they’re going to stop being racist.

I do think a good portion of this hate will quiet down next week. Without the same group that always hates her will continue to be loud a**holes but I think by 403-404 it won’t be as intense. For better or for worse Iris wasn’t just for the focus of 401/402 but the writers made her the main source of conflict in the episodes. I know they aren’t trying to do her dirty but its a lot for two episodes in a row. I think keeping Iris the focus but not the source of conflict will ease things up.

I hope so for everyone’s sake, and that’s why I’m looking forward to tweeting Iris Best (shameless plug!) on Tuesday, so that we can focus on the positive and ignore the dudebros and white feminists.

It seems like all the dctv fandoms are especially messy lately. SG fans have been sending enough hate to Chyler & Caity because of the Sara/Alex storyline in crossover that they actually made a video where they had to remind people that they had nothing to do with the writing on the show. And then there’s the people sending Mehcad hate (some of it racist) because of the potential James/Lena relationship.

I’ve been seeing it and, man, is it all ugly.

Yeah, I definitely think it’s worth noting that (most) casual viewers watch the show as it is and have no idea about the conspiracy theories, crack ships or OTT Iris hatred from a relatively small but loud group of fans. I was a casual fan in S1 and when I did become aware of the fandom sometime in the middle of S2 I was surprised and confused to find out there had been so much vitriol directed at Iris. I had no clue. I’m pretty sure it’s the same for most casual fans.

Casual fans certainly tend to have less OTT opinions that haven’t been cultivated over a long time with like-minded angry fans lol.

I have taken many breaks from the Flash fandom due to how disgusting it is. I only come back to support the queens, Iris and CP and Westallen. But I’m going to do what I’ve been doing: Watch the episodes with social media off. I find myself to be very happy when I do.

Taking breaks is good and watching in a way you enjoy is even better! Glad you defend Candice, though. :)

A/N : I’m back Son Of a Bitch !!! Part 9, i don’t know how many parts left, because i’m still debating either to include the specific story of the game in this series, or make another series out of it. But let’s just enjoy this time we have… i don’t know if this is as interesting for you guys, but it is for me…

Dean’s POV

I woke up to these strange feeling again. I don’t know, it felt like I supposed to hold something when I wake up. But there’s nothing. Strange, but in my life strange is my breakfast. I brushed the feling off just like any other day. I know that keeping a secret from each other is what brought us to problems in the past, but these kinda thing will only earn me never ending tease from Sam. I go to the bathroom to take a shower, after I finished I came down to the kitchen for a breakfast. It’s Sam’s turn isn’t it ? Why is there nothing on the table?

“Sam… Sam….!”

“What Dean ?” Sam come down from his room rubbing his sleepy eyes.

“It’s your turn to make breakfast” I say matter of factly

“No it’s yours… my turn is at Monday and Thursday..” He said between his big yawn.

“Mine is Wednesday and Saturday…” I ponder for a moment “Why do we have our turn twice a week?” I asked him

“I don’t know.. I just remember it that way… So, want me to make the breakfast ?” He offered.

“No.. no I can do it myself, you go shower and we’ll go to that case from Cas..”

“Okay.” Was only his response.

As I cook, I feel somewhat tense, like someone is watching me from my back. I keep on glancing back, thingking it was Sam. But no one there, again, I just carry on and think that this fucked up life is starting to get to me.

“Dean.. Sam.. How are you?” Cas aproached us from the crime scene.

“Same old Cass.. what did you find..?” Sam asked

“Nothing..”

“Nothing ? what do you mean nothing ?” I asked confused

“I’ll explain later, we need to get to a save place now..” With that he rounded and got into Baby’s backseat. We drove to the motel in silence, Cas was silent the whole ride. Not long, we arived, Cas simply throw us inside by teleporting us.

“What the hell Cas?” I hissed at him

“Dean, Sam, have you ever feel like you forget something but you can’t remember it?”

I look at him confused. There’s a silence for solid ten seconds before Sam speak. “I have ..”

“You have ?” I asked

“Yeah.. Remember when I asked you to look for something in library yesterday, and the day before?”

“What’s wrong with that ? you ask me to do it countless time before.”

“I know, but I felt like it’s not supposed to be you that I’m asking to. I feel like there’s someone else that used or I think used to do the research with me…” Sam trailed.

“And this morning, and every morning before, I felt like I supposed to cook breakfast with someone else in the kitchen. But Sam hardly stays in the kitchen for five minutes. And I remember everytime I asked you if you ever helped me you would say..” “You have all the pair of hands you need to cook breakfast for three..” We said this aat the same time. We looked at Cas, only for him to look back at us with deep frown on his forehead. “Cass.. what does it mean ?” Without answering my question he disappeared, only to comeback seconds later with confused look.

“I don’t understand… “

“You don’t understand what Cas?” I asked.

“I can’t go back to heaven….”

“Why you can’t?” I pushed

“It’s blocked, like God doesn’t want anyone to exit or enter the heaven.”

With this information we are getting more and more confused. First the fucked up memories, and now Heaven’s closed. Will there be another apocalyptic disaster? Why is this things always follows us.

Normal POV

It’s been a week since he decided to bring back Dean to life, and a week since he erased all of his existense in from the life of his love. It breaks his heart, to not be able to hold Dean’s hand anymore, not feel his kisses anymore, his hugs, his smiles, his loving stares, his presence. But that has to be done, To bring him back to life, even if it means to change their reality where (Y/N) never existed. It’s for the best, it’s his job to protect people that he loves, his family. Even if it means he has to fight hard.

The moment Dean was killed, the sacrifice of sixteen troops under (Y/N)’s name is complete. That brings him into the game, to the fourth dimension. But the moment he bring Dean back to life, the effect of the sacrifice is cancelled. But here he is, in the fourth dimension preparing to fight a war. He joined the game out of his own will, to fight to protect those who can’t do it for themselves. He joined his father as the bishop of his father’s pieces, due to his power, and his status as the son of the time himself. A day on earth, is a month in fouth dimension. And in those amount of time, (Y/N) practice and practice to use his power to the maximum capabillity, to improve his fighting skills, all while he tried to burry the memories of his new family deep inside his head.

“Focus Your Highness, if you don’t want your head chopped out of your body!” He shouted as he swings his sword to (Y/N)’s direction.

(Y/N) just deflect it using the blade of time he owns and ducked his head “Even if my head is about to be chopped out of my body, you wouldn’t be the one to do so… because you can’t Arthur…” He taunt his father’s knight. As soon as he joined the prime pieces, Arthur became his good friend. His politeness, his bravery, and not to mention, he is a king himself when he’s still on earth.

“You can’t be so sure on that ..” he smirked, no one really knows that the former king has took a liking on (Y/N). At first he thought that letting Chronos’s son to this game is a bad idea, since they don’t know of his capabillity. But as (Y/N) came to one of his practice with his pawn and beat him, he automatically set his eyes on the prince.

“Well I know you wouldn’t since you pledged your loyalty to my father after he resurect you…” (Y/N) said as he seath his blade to it’s place that straped to his hip. “So.. where is Pegasus ? why doesn’t he practice with us ?”

“It’s full moon tonight, he’s going to visit his own kingdom in the forest.” He explained more about his pawn that (Y/N) never knew existed. They met exactly after Chronos resurected Arthur, they went to get Excalibur that is hidden in Pegasus’s kingdom of mythical creatures. Deep into the forest of the moon, filled with magic to protect the said sword from someone that is not worty. Arthur explained how he has to fight the mighty pegasus with bare hands to convince him that Excalibur is his.

“It’s still strange though now I get to talk to the men of legend himself.” (Y/N) teased, being good friends they always tease each other. (Y/N) would tease about Arthur being old because of his legend, and Arthur will tease (Y/N) about his incapabillity to be on time despite being the son of the time. They laugh and talk for a good thirty minutes, when another voice cut through.

But Hilda is something else, She is the mother of Amazonians, the first one, she was resurected by Chronos not long after Arthur. Unlike him, she doesn’t need to search for special weapon, but Chronos gave her the Axe of gravity, those make her unbeatable warrior on land. Her strength and ability to fight, plus the ability to manipulate gravity from the axe, she is the one that defeat half of Cosmos’s army in the last game. So we could say that she is one of the key piece on the last game.

Sam’s POV

We recalled when was the first time we felt the change in our life routines. All and all, we came to conclusion, we lost someone. Someone that being a constant in our life, someone that supposed to be there with us from the morning we start, untill late night before we sleep. That someone… Who is it ? They are the constant thing in our life, but why can’t we remember it ? From the moment we came to this conclusion, I sensed distress from Dean, hell I’m stressing myself. The nagging in the back of my head tell me that whoever this lost person is, they are more important than I can tell. So important untill they left us the feeling of emptiness in our days.

Before we get an answer of our first question, appeared the second one. Why did they left ? Why did they don’t want us to remember ? Does they hurt us ? or we hurt them ? Either way doesn’t seemed right. So what is their reason to left us forgeting ? I raked my hands to my hair, ruffling it in frustation. I don’t know wher to look, or what to begin with. They left no trace at all, just this feeling of loosing someone in our life is not enough. Trace, now that I think about it, somehow that word sounds familiar to me. Well, we searched for a trace on cases. But we never used trace as a word to describe it, we used ‘lead’.

“Cas…. Can you do anything to.. I don’t know.. restore our memories?” To my sugestion, both Dean and Cas looked at me.

“I’m afraid I can’t Sam, it’s not just your memories that is changed. The whole reality is, we need some spesific trace to track what reality that has been changed. Only after that, I can try to mend your memories in this reality, to the one from those changed one…”

Not missing a beat, Dean stood up “Okay I’ll grab a shower to cool my head, this is starting to make my brain cry.”

Few minutes after, I’m on my laptop trying to search all about reality and what kind of creature that can change it. I looked up to the sound of Dean asking me of his clothes. He eventualy found his t-shirt and putting it on, half way through, he turned his back to me and I see it.

“Dean what is that ?” I pointed to his back.

“What is what Sam ?” Dean turned

I just walk to him and lift his t-shirt. There on his back, some kind of tatto. But I remember Dean never had tatto, he even hates when he got a shot from doctor. I picked up my phone from the table, and take a picture of it.

ok, this may be due to the obnoxious amountsof dramione fanfiction i’ve read, but i totally ship you with Draco. (also please keep in mind i don’t ship youwith a dead eater but let’s pretend jk rowling gave my beloved son a different,not so dark and tragic future)

39 But know this, that if the householder had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have left his house to be broken into. 40 You also must be ready; for the Son of man is coming at an unexpected hour." 41 Peter said, "Lord, are you telling this parable for us or for all?" 42 And the Lord said, "Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his master will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the proper time? 43 Blessed is that servant whom his master when he comes will find so doing. 44 Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions. 45 But if that servant says to himself, `My master is delayed in coming,' and begins to beat the menservants and the maidservants, and to eat and drink and get drunk, 46 the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will punish him, and put him with the unfaithful. 47 And that servant who knew his master's will, but did not make ready or act according to his will, shall receive a severe beating. 48 But he who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, shall receive a light beating. Meditation: What lesson can we draw from Jesus' parable about a thief in the night and the parable of the rich master who returns unexpectedly to reward or dismiss his servants for how they have served his estate while he was away? Both parables confront us with the possibility of losing everything we possess and treasure now as well as the future inheritance that is saved up for us.

The thief in the night Jesus' story (parable) of the thief in the night brings home the necessity for careful watchfulness and staying alert to avert the danger of plunder and loss of livelhood (all that we need to sustain us now and in the future). The thief comes uninvited, especially under the cover of darkness and secrecy! While no thief would announce his intention in advance, nor the time when he would strike, lack of vigilance invites serious loss for those who have not kept their home and treasure secure at all times! The intruder strikes when he is least expected!

Don't lose the treasure of God's kingdom What kind of treasure does the Lord Jesus expect us to vigilantly guard and protect in this present life? It is the treasure of his kingdom and the gifts and graces he has won for us - the gift of salvation purchased by the blood of Christ who died for us on the cross to free us from slavery to sin and Satan, and the gift of abundant new life which Christ won for us through his resurection victory over death, and the gift of the Holy Spirit who comes to live in us and empower us with supernatural faith, hope, and love that endure forever. The Father and the Son come to dwell in us through the gift of the Holy Spirit who makes his home with us. But we can lose the treasure and gifts of God if we do not guard our hearts and minds and hold to the truth of God's word and live according to his wise precepts, teaching, and just laws. Whose voice and counsel do you trust and follow?

Satan comes like a thief in the night to rob us of our faith and to draw us away from God's will for our lives. Satan works in the "world" (that society of men and women who are opposed to God and his commandments) and with our own "flesh" (those sinful inclinations within us that tempt us to do what is wrong and evil). And Satan wispers to us false promises to make us believe that we can find happiness and joy apart from God and his will for us.

The prophet Jeremiah reminds us that our hearts apart from God are easily deceived (Jeremiah 17:9). How easily we put off for another day what God requires of us today - to walk humbly, repent sincerely, forgive quickly, and to trust in his merciful love and grace at all times. God offers us his mercy and abundant grace (his divine presence, power, and wise counsel) to turn away from sin, deception, and disobedience. But we must not presume that we can put off for another day what must be done today.

The Lord Jesus reminds us that the "Day of the Lord" will come unexpectedly like a thief in the night. Will we be ready to receive the Lord when he comes to speak to us today, and when he ushers us to stand before his throne and meet him face-to-face to hear his final verdict on the Day of Judgment. Which verdict do you wish to hear? In Matthew's Gospel account, Jesus opens the curtain of the heavenly court room and gives a glimpse of his verdict on that day:

34 Then the King will say to those at his right hand, `Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; 35 for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.' ...41 Then he will say to those at his left hand, `Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels; 42 for I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.' - Matthew 25:34-36, 41-43

The Lord rewards those who are faithful and wise Jesus ends his teaching on watchfulness and vigilance with another parable about a master and his servants (Matthew 24:.45-49). The storyline is similar. There is an element of surprise - the master suddenly returns home unexpectedly, probably from a long journey. He rewards one servant for his faithful loyalty and devoted service to his master. He has performed his service dutifully and has done all that the master required of him.

He punishes the other servant who was disloyal, disobedient, and acted shamefully. This servant was not only irresponsible - he was frequently absent from his work and misused his master's money for personal gain by throwing lavish parties (eating and drinking) for his friends. The disloyal servant also abused his fellow workers with physical force and violence - probably to make them do the work he was supposed to do for his master. When the master returns and discovers the unfaithful servant who has wasted his master's goods and mistreated his fellow servants, the master gives him what he deserves. He dismisses him from his service and throws him out of his house - and sends him to the worst of possible places - a prison of no return where there is nothing but torment and misery. Should we be surprised to see the master acting with such swift judgment? The master rewards his faithful servants with honor, blessing, and promotion in his service, and he gives to his disobedient and unfaithful servants the just punishment they deserve - the loss of honor, privilege, and joy of sharing in the master's good friendship forever.

Are you ready to meet the Lord? The Lord Jesus calls us to be vigilant in watching for his return and to be ready to meet him when he calls us to himself. The Lord gives us his Holy Spirit so that we may have the wisdom, strength, and help we need to turn away from own sin and to embrace God's way of love, justice, and holiness. The Lord's warning of judgment causes dismay for those who are unprepared, but it brings joyful hope to those who eagerly wait for his return in glory. God's judgment is good news for those who are ready to meet him face to face when he returns. Their reward is God himself, the source of all truth, beauty, goodness, love and everlasting life. Are you ready to receive his grace and help today to walk in faithfulness and obedience, trust and hope, steadfast love and mercy?

"Lord Jesus, you have captured my heart for you. Make me strong in faith, steadfast in hope, and generous in love that I may seek to please you in all things and bring you glory. May I always be watchful and ready to answer when you draw near."

"'Blessed is the servant whom the Lord will find so doing when he comes. A great promise is extended to the Lord's faithful and wise stewards. It is like the promise he made to those to whom he said, 'Take authority over five cities' or 'take authority over ten cities' (Luke 19:17-19). For to be made the head 'over all his possessions' is nothing other than to be made an 'heir of God and coheir with Christ' (Romans 8:17) and to reign with Christ. The Father has given him everything he himself possesses, as Christ said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me' (Matthew 28:18). The Son of the good Father who is given authority over all his Father's possessions also shares this honor and glory with his faithful and wise stewards, so they also might be with Christ above every creature and authority.
